
Jim
Abeita is a Navajo artist. He studied at the American Academy of Art in
Chicago in the late sixties. He has won numerous awards at the New
Mexico State Fair, the Gallup Inter-tribal Ceremonial and other events.
He has been written up in Arizona Highways Magazine, New Mexico
Magazine, And Southwest Art Magazine. We carry the book The American
Indians of Abeita, His People featuring many of his early works.
